Terror ought to have been her only reaction when the massive Haruk of the Plains Hunt showed interest in her. She should have tried to fight, to run. But she didn't want to. Not for the right reason's at least. When safety, purpose and a devoted lover were on offer could you honestly say you would turn it down? Life on StellarV4 was not what had been garunteed. All she and the others could do now was adapt.
