À propos de cet audio
In Tantric Transformation, we are introduced to the sacred and ancient tradition of tantra by a contemporary tantric master Osho. We are given a detailed map of tantra: inner man, inner woman; the meeting of man and woman; the transformation of energy through sex, love, and meditation. Based on the Royal Song of Saraha, we are not just introduced to an Asian sex tradition, but with Osho we enter the higher levels of transformation. Here, we find tantra as a door to freedom: freedom from all mind constructs and mind games; freedom from all structures; and freedom from the other.
Love and meditation merge and provide a path to liberation. Tantric Transformation is a very alive, concrete audiobook for exploration of our own energy, of our own inner space. You don't just listen to Osho; you undefine yourself. (See The Tantra Experience by Osho - part of the same series.)

This life is a gift from existence, to be lived and enjoyed. But with the seemingly impossible and conflicting demands of society, morality, and culture, people struggle with feelings of unfulfilled potential, frustration, and guilt rather than living full lives. The world of tantra has no division between higher and lower. The simple, ordinary things of life are transformed into great things when we enter into them totally - be it car fixing, floor cleaning or lovemaking. Osho shows how, by living this vision, new heights of consciousness and freedom are realized.

Based on the Seven Points of Mind Training by the 11th-century Buddhist mystic Atisha, The Book of Wisdom removes the dust of tradition that has gathered around meditation, conveying the essential science and methodology of the practice with a freshness and spontaneity that is rarely found in contemporary spiritual works.

Histoire
Written more than 25 centuries ago, the Diamond Sutra is the first text to record the Buddha's own teachings, and it remains one of the most popular. Osho comments in a series of talks on these sutras and brings Buddha's teachings into the 21st century. One day, after the Buddha finishes his daily walk to collect alms, a senior monk steps forth to ask how he can best help humanity. Buddha responds, and thus begins a dialogue regarding the nature of perception.

Sufism, also called “Islamic Mysticism” is a belief and practice in which Muslims seek to find the truth of divine love and knowledge through direct personal experience of God. Osho has spoken in a number of series on this beautiful tradition - which he compares with other spiritual and religious traditions - elaborating the underlying essence to an international audience. Osho brings the listener in contact with Sufism through his experiential sharing.

Here, Osho introduces listeners to this extraordinary mystic and his songs, bringing both to light in such a way as to show how they are both timeless and utterly relevant to our time. The path of love, as described by Osho and though the songs of Kabir, is a journey that seeks out and celebrates the divine that is hidden in the ordinary, the love that becomes not just a feeling one has but ultimately a state of being that one is.

Not believing, but only experiencing, says Osho in this inspiring series of talks, is a way of finding truth and meaning. While Nietzsche's declaration that "God is dead, therefore man is free" was an incredible step in understanding, he argues, it is in itself a negative solution and does not bring freedom. Simply removing God is not enough. Osho is no atheist by far and not in favor of any "anti-believe" system either. "It is meditation that fulfills your inner being and takes away the vacuum that used to be filled by a great lie, God."

What if Jesus were not a supernatural being conceived by a virgin but a real human being who had experienced the awakening of consciousness known as "enlightenment" in the East? This extraordinary line-by-line commentary on some of the best-known New Testament Gospels from Matthew and John tests the hypothesis that Jesus was a mystic, not a miracle worker of supernatural origin. Osho convincingly makes the case that the stories of Jesus' life were never meant to be a factual record of history but rather are teaching parables.

Commenting on the haunting songs of Kabir, Osho takes the listener to the very core of the human dilemma, to the simple cause of man's misery - that he thinks that he is separate from existence: his inability to comprehend why the fish in the sea is not thirsty. Osho also answers questions, speaking on emotions and being detached from them, aloneness and love, imitation, children and religion, rebellion, living in a balanced way, sex, the generation gap, and much more.

Nirvana has become an idealized word associated with the juxtaposition of a cult rock celebrity who died before his time and a vague new age version of Eastern religion. An altered state to be hoped for but likely unattainable, reinforcing that all too familiar uneasiness associated with never being able to have what we truly desire in life.

Ecstasy: The Forgotten Language invites us to rediscover our natural state of ecstasy. We have lost touch with our intrinsic nature, says Osho, because we no longer live existential lives; we put our whole focus on our private lives. We have lost contact with the real and live almost entirely in our minds, in our imaginations. This makes us dull and unhappy and unavailable for what life is really offering us. Society and civilizations originally evolved to support and protect us, but now the situation has reversed and instead we find ourselves existing to sustain them.

What the heck? I loved this, and....
I started listening to this one night in terrible chronic pain. I was immediately mesmerized by both the sound of his voice and his whistling sibilant sounds. His words stayed with me and the feelings of congruency and just hearing these truths, were brilliantly intense for me. The next day, I looked him up, only to find that he was that Rolls Royce Bhagwan from Oregon, who, with his assistant, Sheela, were exiled for running a cult. I can't defend this man, but his Trantic teachings are profound and true. I stopped listening out of a kind of delusional protest, but his words kept coming back to me as truth, so I kept listening. I love Tantra and think it has many answers for us as a species. What to do with a teacher who was disgraced before the world, is quite another story. There are so many charlatans and war on consciousness profiteers, but I honestly don't think he was one. His teachings about sex would be largely misunderstood by western cultures, who don't see the progression through all the chakras to reach nirvana. I don't know.....
