Interesting concept..but dragged
Évalué le: 2024-12-07
It’s sounded like an interesting concept and it had so many amazing reviews, however I found that it dragged…a lot of characters to keep track of… at times the voice for the main character was a bit annoying to listen to. Feels like something was missing…was expecting something more to happen… 🤷🏼♀️

Cute story
Évalué le: 2024-05-13
Enjoyable light hearted story…but some of the characters voices were so irritating to listen to 🙉 …and there are moments where it will go from calm, regular speaking to hyper or yelling —so be aware if you like to listen at night when falling asleep —it will jolt you awake. I wish you could change the tone of ppl’s voices and not just the speed. I would have brought some of the characters voices down a few octaves or something—way too irritating 😵💫
Otherwise a cute, but kinda out there book.

Cute and entertaining story that’s somewhat like a Hallmark xmas movie. Wish it was longer with a bit more “meat”

Confusing backward timeline—hard to follow
Évalué le: 2022-02-15
Pretty confusing to follow at times… sounded like a cool concept to have a time line to go backwards, but in the end it was difficult to follow and piece parts of the story together.

Love the author—hate the narrator
Évalué le: 2021-04-01
I’ve enjoyed her books, so that’s why I bought this one. But can’t stand the narrator!! Tone is annoying, character voices are annoying...can’t even listen to it for long or at night cause it gets too irritating. I’m only part way through but might just stop before it’s finished.

Good but heavy subject matter
Évalué le: 2020-09-07
Older sisters voice by narrator was kinda odd—almost like drawn out in slow motion at Times and it was distracting. She was able to speak normally (as you see she does w other characters or even at times, being herself ...so was a bit perplexing why she chose that odd voice for the main character)....
Heavy subject matter—so as much as I was looking for an escape from my life/the world , there were times I had to stop listening cause it wasn’t relieving stress...sometimes adding to it. Very good story though—esp for anyone who wants or needs to know more about abuse/addiction and how it can affect lives etc...
