wonderful advice

Absolutely wonderful advice offered in this book. I hope there is a lot of supplements so I can refer back to it. Great for managers and people with friends that like to bitch a lot.

I mean it's no brain buster or anything, but this book was hilariously funny. Best space book I've read in awhile.

The folks in Mike Erikson's small New England town would say he's just your average, everyday guy. And that's exactly how Mike likes it. Sure, the life he's chosen isn't much of a challenge to someone with his unique gifts, but he's content with his quiet and peaceful existence. That is, until an old friend presents him with an irresistible mystery, one that Mike is uniquely qualified to solve.

Loved it

You know a book is great when you buy the next one immediately after. I loved the characters, the premise, the tie into 14, and the overall sci-fi arch.

Histoire
United Nations Special Operations Command sent an elite expeditionary force of soldiers and pilots out on a simple recon mission, and somehow along the way they sparked an alien civil war. Now the not-at-all-merry band of pirates is in desperate trouble, again. Their stolen alien starship is falling apart, thousands of light years from home. The ancient alien AI they nicknamed Skippy is apparently dead, and even if they can by some miracle revive him, he might never be the same.

Good, but felt slower
Évalué le: 2019-02-02
Still love the series, but it does feel a little repetitive. No one actually dies, so you always know they will find a way out of whatever predicament they end up in.

Loved the reading, the story not as much
Évalué le: 2018-07-06
Love Ray and Dennis combo. The two of them are out of this world good. Which is why I was surprised to find myself bored by the first three quarters of the book. Even the ending left me feeling let down. I know I hold an unpopular opinion, but what Dennis did with the Bobiverse he didn't do here.
I could go on, but I'm wishing the Singularity Trap went in a more robot super power type of direction instead of the way it did.
