Boring story without character development

Why did the main character get sent to this world? The only reason this is an Isekai is so that the MC can reference and know things from our world. He never mentions or cares about his past life.

Great inside view of a classic video game story

I liked that it was a full life view. It gives interesting insights on Romero that aren't in 'Masters of Doom'. In particular I like how he explains the lessons he's learned.

Difficult to finish

This book really could have used some editing. I feel like all the points and anecdotes were repeated over and over. The whole thing could have been said in 3 hours instead of 12.
