Loved the story but hard to listen to the narrator

A great story. I liked everything about the story and the characters. For me it was incredibly hard to listen to the narrator speak for Penn (the dad). The voice was a whisper making Penn sound uncaring, unsure, and very boring. He was written to be much much more than than that in my opinion. I wish I would have read this book and not listened to it.

Not a great listen for me

The narrator tried too hard to be dramatic and made characters speak like robots. It was hard to imagine them as real people.
