Worth it to finish

Very slow start, took two attempts to get past the first 4 chapters, had to restart. Very slow first half of the book, I honestly wasn’t captivated til half way through then it got really good and I flew through it. Definitely worth sticking it through to the end of you’re on the fence.

I loved the performance, the narrator was amazing and really put their all into reading the book. The book started out great but I felt it started to drag about half way through, it could have been half the length in my opinion.

Such a cute book, I loved it! I had all the feels and loved passing my time listening to it. Better than the first one for sure, and I liked getting to know the characters more in this book. I recommend!

I came in with low expectations, which I’m glad about. It definitely was not my favourite book, I enjoyed the first half, but seemed to drag on at the end. It’s not a must read but glad I read it. I was hoping for something bigger to happen, not nothing ever did. I did enjoy the performances though! I’ll be reading the next book in the series if that says anything!

Worth the wait

Slow beginning that wasn’t very interesting, I was waiting for the story to pick up, which it did in the second half. I’m glad I stuck to
It to finish. I went in not knowing much about the story so I was a bit confused where it would go. Slow burn but I liked it! I didn’t like the kids voice in the book, would cringe at it, but I suppose it’s helpful to know who is talking.

I loved the different narrators and voices to distinguish which characters perspective the chapter was from. I really enjoyed the listen, not like any book I have previously read/listened to and enjoyed the story. I recommend!

Could not get into this book for a while. The story seemed slow with no direction the first half. I stuck with it long enough that the story did eventually pick up and actually intrigued me enough to finish. Would be a good one for book clubs to discuss.
