Best book I’ve read on digital transformation
Évalué le: 2019-10-29
This is a fantastic book that gives an overview of the key pillars for digital transformation at a detailed enough level to get some true tactical insights. As a person leading a digital transformation team I found this book extremely useful and have recommended it to my team and my company’s leadership team. I especially liked the 10 recommendations for CEOs at the end. A really great and inspirational read that helps highlight the urgency of transforming.

Histoire
How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Another interesting web of stories

I love the way Malcolm tells stories and how he weaves them all together. The stories in this book are definitely thought provoking and a lot darker than his other books with a lot of them centered on unpleasant topics that some may find hard to listen to. I liked the way he weaved it all together at the end with the coupling theory.
Outliers is still my absolute favourite book of all time. This one is good but doesn’t top Outliers.
