Many people get into relationships with narcissists. There is little warning that their lives will forever be changed by the narcissists. They never stop to realize the gravity of having been in the lives of narcissists. Some people will suffer long term in the form of Cassandra syndrome, trauma bonding, and complex PTSD. Others will suffer through their children's ill-mannered behavior due to parental alienation syndrome or through the loss of relationships with their children due to the narcissists.
