Excellent book!

I thoroughly enjoyed this well constructed victorian mystery! The story was complex and engaging, as were the characters. The narration was well done too. I would highly recommend it for fans of Andrea Penrose's Wrexford and Sloane series. I can't wait for the next one to come out.

A Beautiful Story!

I loved this book so very much. It's a story of two women, born a century apart. It's a tale of their struggles, their loved ones, their sacrifices and their triumphs. It made me love them and feel part of their lives. It made me smile and it made me cry tears of loss. THe narrator does a wonderful job and enhances the story with her artful delivery. It's a wonderful book!

Loved it!

A very well written period mystery! Billie, the main character is likeable and I was drawn into the story from the very start. There are lots of twists and turns to the mystery that made me want to keep reading long past when I should have put it down!
