I fought to get the rough parts

as other's have mentioned there is some very troubling SA in this book and it felt too detailed, I almost gave up on the book. You can fast forward the book through those parts, but it was hard not knowing if they would end. I did make it through the book but it is heavy and some of it dark. There are twists and unexpected turns. The story itself when not focused on the dark is interesting. You fall in love with the two main characters and want the best for them, you root for them.
