This was the worst narration I’ve ever heard. The sharp whistling S is painful. This audiobook was clearly not checked prior to releasing. No one in their right mind would think the sharp whistle sound when pronouncing the letter S in this book would be tolerable

Excellent story, and advice

Man do I wish Voss narrated this. His voice is an instrument and should have been experienced by the reader. Other than that I very much enjoyed this read. The actual narrator was pretty good.

Excellent book, terrible narration

Goggins has definitely mind hacked himself. I enjoyed the content and the extra conversation/interview not in the hard copy book. That said, the narration was awful. Skolnick sounds like a nice guy but that’s part of the problem. He did not accurately convey the brut grit that Goggins is. Skolnick’s voice was so incredibly whiny I had to fast forward at parts.

Incredible Content

I’ve read a lot of books on the topics of health, nutrition, and science. This book is in my top 5 list. The story was compelling, narration was top notch, content was dense and well reviewed. That said, I wish he would do away with the superlatives. Hard to take him seriously sometimes.

I could hear the sincerity in her voice and can tell she truly believes in manifesting thoughts. The book is very fluffy and repetitive. I thought I was going to listen to sensible money advice and instead I got a new version of “the secret”. The only good piece was how she pointed out that in movie plots, women that pursue career or money are punished in the plot and women that already have wealth are evil - cruella Deville, Devil wears Prada, Overboard with Goldie Hawn, etc…
