I started watching Gilmore Girls with my daughter when she turned sixteen. I remember buying the entire seven-season DVD set for her birthday in 2008. We were already very close as mother and daughter, but the show had a significant impact on our relationship.
As a Canadian who immigrated at 29, I raised my daughter here, where she grew up surrounded by different opportunities. Gilmore Girls opened our minds to the possibilities life offers when you have choices and the freedom to pursue them. Long story short—my daughter went on to earn her master’s degree at Harvard. I wouldn’t say it was solely because of the show, but it certainly played a role in shaping her aspirations.
I’ve always loved Kelly Bishop’s performance as Emily Gilmore, so I picked up The Third Gilmore Girl thinking it was only about her time on the show. However, I was pleasantly surprised! Kelly is a strong, formidable woman with a no-nonsense personality, and this book reflects that beautifully. It’s both entertaining and filled with life lessons that leave you feeling inspired and hopeful.
A must-read!

I think Nora Roberts is a genius, she is make you feel good kind of genius, her books is better than going to a shrink or taking Xanax😂
I never want to story to end when I read her books. Love the female power characters, they overcome any obstacle in their life. It’s really good to listen or read them in hard times. Thank you Nora for the good feeling you create with your stories.

The Wonderful Sad

One of the saddest story that brilliantly written and read. I usually don’t read the stories about depression era, they make me so sad and depressed.
I don’t know I might lived in that era in my past life!
But when I started this one I couldn’t stop listening.
I just finished it, it feels like I have a hole in my heart💔💔💔
