What makes someone charismatic? Why do some captivate a room, while others have trouble managing a small meeting? What makes some ideas spread, while other good ones fall by the wayside? If you have ever been interrupted in meetings, overlooked for career opportunities or had your ideas ignored, your cues may be the problem - and the solution.

I really enjoyed that she reviewed both positive and negative cues. I certainly learned a good amount.
The one thing I'd like to see is a list in the book of warm, charismatic and competent words/ phrases.
Also the pdf included a larger list of warm, charismatic and competent phrases, words and cues nicely summarized.
Thank-you for the great book.

Or if you feel angry every single day and it’s affecting your health and sleep and love of life. Or if you have very good reasons to be mad as hell, and you aren’t going to take it anymore. Art & Fear explores the way art gets made, the reasons it often doesn't get made, and the nature of the difficulties that cause so many artists to give up along the way. This is a book about what it feels like to sit in your studio or classroom, at your wheel or keyboard, easel or camera, trying to do the work you need to do. It is about committing your future to your own hands, placing free will above predestination, choice above chance. It is about finding your own work.

Great book, wishing some elements were available
I believe this was a well written and well performed book. As a training voice over artist, it had some new elements to take away.
It was intriguing and informative.
Lorelei is clearly a great narrator.
For myself, this book really would have benefited from some audio book scripts, with examples from Lorelei, with different genres. We truly learn by doing and not only listening.
I also really would have loved some more information on character creation and voice acting.
She has some easy to follow great tips on the subject mentioned.
I really hope she writes a second book that dives more into character creation and lots of examples of read styles for different genres. It was clear she had more knowledge to share.
Thankyou for the lovely read.
Daniel
