Very good collection of stories

The Prophet: Chapter 1 to Chapter 7
Treasure Island: Chapter 8 to Chapter 41
White Fang: Chapter 42 to Chapter 66
Time Machine: Chapter 67 to Chapter 78
The Battle of Life: Chapter 79 to Chapter 85
The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes: Chapter 86 to Chapter 100
The Three Musketeers: Chapter 101 to Chapter 169
The Adventures of Pinocchio: Chapter 170 to Chapter 205
Robinson Crusoe: Chapter 206 to Chapter 227
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn: Chapter 228 to Chapter 270

My favorite stories were Treasure Island and The Adventures of Pinocchio.
You could feel that the narrator had a lot of fun making voices for the characters.

Chapters should highlight Books Presentec

I love the essence of this recording. Ten great books to read. Someone in production should take more than two minutes to create chapters that do not coordinate with the book or books present. would it not make more sense in this instance to create chapters based on the books, such as ten chapters, one for each book. This is very frustrating when trying to find almost every book unless you read from start to finish. Dividing audio books based solely by numbers doesn't make sense. I am presently listening to lectures of Michael Singer. Would it not make more sense to base chapters by content, such as finding love or finding inner peace.I notice that some books use this concept but not a lot. Using chapter numbers that coincide with novel chapter numbers but not for non fiction books. With great non fiction books use chapter names such as the journey, based on the printed book. Lectures or recordings should be based on content or session. Content would be better and easier to find what you are looking for. The ten books here could be split by individual book or story. . I hope my comments find the people who can encourage chapters that highlight the content

Good luck finding the book you want.

There are no chapter guidelines to help you find the book you want to read in this selection. It's a lot of hunt and peck to figure out where the next book starts. I hope the below helps someone else because I found this a real PITA. The narrator is, at best, okay. Some of the voices are a bit ridiculous, and some of the voices "accidentally" carry over into the narration so it's hard to tell who is speaking. Overall, it's a lot of listening material for only one credit which makes it worthwhile, but if you're inclined to read the printed word, most of these books are free in the public domain.

The Prophet: Chapter 1
Treasure Island: Chapter 8
White Fang: Chapter 42
The Time Machine: Chapter 67
The Battle of Life: Chapter 79
Sherlock Holmes: Chapter 86
The Three Musketeers: Chapter 101
The Adventures of Pinocchio: Chapter 170
Robinson Crusoe: Chapter 206
Huckleberry Finn: Chapter 228

DULL DULL DULL READING

Listen to sample. I can't have this voice in my ears another minute. Plus, who says these readings are essential? Gibran? The purple prose meister. Metaphor as wisdom. First chapters of Rob. Crusoe--borrring.
