Great summer escape read
Such a fun, nostalgic summer read. For a 40 something reader, great trip down memory lane to what was happening year by year for the past 28 years. Nothing heavy. Just an enjoyable listen for a summer escape.

Perfect!
I loved this book so much that I listened to it twice back to back and cried at the end both times. It probably didn’t help that I listened to the Cat Stevens song a couple times during the story! I wish this could be a movie- the modern version of “Same Time Next Year”.

All that I needed
Great book well read. At first, I wasn’t sure I would buy this book based on the description. I am so happy I did ! It’s filled with simple joys, sun, beach, friendship, real love in a world where we have to make the most of every day. Thank you Elin !

Loved the story.

A great story
A wonderful story of a mad love affair. Sad ending and sad that Jake couldn’t man-up to leave his wife for his soul mate. Sad that Malerie could not find any other to fill the void. Now…onto book #2

Just What I Needed!
Too often i choose books with endless plot twists and surprises…. I chose this book for a gentle relaxing read and it was just that- the characters and the story line were soothing, friendly, easy to follow but combined it was a good story overall. I totally recommend it!
