Very slow moving at the start. A lot of good description but some characters are developed for no purpose.

A Bound Heart
This book is very well written, couldn't stop listening to it. The characters are very interesting, it's unpredictable. There's pain, sorrow, love, lost, and adventure. If you want to listen to a clean adventure this is perfect for you. The narrator did a great job with the different voices, it's nice and clear, words are pronounced very good and no slurring. All together a beautiful work.

Taken on a journey I didn’t expect. Loved it.
This is my third Laura Frantz novel and I won’t be stopping anytime soon. The characters are so enjoyable, I mourn putting them away at the end. I loved hearing the different Scottish phrases, the descriptions transporting me into their world. The author has me identifying with the wrestlings of loyalty to land, people, and the heart.
