Ok I really wanted more steam. There was so much between the two main characters and it was constantly mentioned that she was a virgin so one would assume that if and when the two main characters got together there would be a great love scene. Nope. Really hardly any love scenes. Very disappointing. Elisa Braden remains my favourite author but Jillian Eaton had so much potential.

I’ve somehow gotten used to the Moira Rose feel of the narrator’s voice, which I’m grateful for. Crime/Story-wise, it’s a bit better constructed than the first?Not enough to keep reading the series though. I do kinda want to go check out The Winter Duchess to see Grant’s parents’ story.
