Nothing New Here
1.5 stars. There is not really anything new here. It seemed to be a compilation of trite insta-posts that seem deep/wise, but are really rather shallow, obvious and pretentious statements issued from a place of privilege. I will repeat what others have said - it is also repetitive, ha ha. There is a TON of “choose this kind of love/this kind of relationship and let go of everything else”, as if partners and friends are found within an endless catalogue of every possible choice.
I can see how, if you are young/under-read, and/or found this book at the right time, it might seem profound and be comforting, but if you are mature/older/more experienced, you will probably find this to be a waste of time, as I did.
