a history of the world !
Really a great book! Definitely worth the time investment. I'm sure some readers will think that a particular person or topic was not extensively covered, but in this type of book that is almost inevitable. Marr's unique perspective and sometimes blunt assessment of historical events and people keeps this very interesting. The content t is also not just as Eurocentric as other books I've read. Also there was surprisingly a lot of 20th century material. Overall a great book I would recommend to any fan of history!
