A Hue of Blue was a really heavy read for me. While I can appreciate what the story was trying to do, it felt very triggering at times and left me feeling conflicted more than anything. It’s one of those books that sticks with you, but not necessarily in a way that makes you want to go back to it. I didn’t feel that sense of comfort or enjoyment I usually look for in a read, so it’s not one I’d revisit but I can see how it might resonate differently with others depending on their experiences.
