Perhaps of Value for Some

I hesitate to leave a less than stellar review as the author seems kind and sincere. She is also very skilled at narration!

I came into the listen without much research about the book; in retrospect this is my fault.

But for those steeped in Patristic or theological works, this book may come off as lacking any real depth as an inquiry into the Mother of God.

The author is certainly skilled in the use of adjectives and of describing her inner and outer life; but how this creative world-play and autobiographical data may aid one in their serious pursuit of a relationship with the Theotokos is, ultimately, less clear.

As I said in the title, perhaps this work is good for some. Unfortunately it left me unfulfilled, and I suspect it may for others.
