cute.
I enjoyed this book series although not as much as I thought I would.
I loved how they incorporated some aspects of PTSD, Rhen and Harper's skittish reactions to Gray's magic makes sense and would naturally be expected!
I also enjoyed the protrayal of Harper and Rhen's relationship in this book.
How even though Harper is angry and resentful of Rhen's actions does not make her love him any less. she is angry but she does not leave.
Her reflection on staying with him is true to anyone who loves someone deeply and disagrees with what they are doing so profoundly but cannot abandon them, but fights to help change them/guide them.
I am confused however on how the two countries will operate? How can the king of one country, marry the queen of another and stay seperate countries?
what about the heir?
Which kingdom will they rule? how will it be determined?!
I found the progression of events in this story to be dry, there was too much anticipation for each event and the execution of the event was bland.
I wonder if there will be enough story left to continue on the series?
I hope so only because the end left alot of questions unanswered in regard to the anti magic faction and how Rhen will grow and adapt.
I hope the next book jam packs alot of action. I feel as though these 3 books could have easily been 2. or at least needed a lot more content to be three.
