So detailed!
I loved how detailed this book was. It took me months to get through, as I only have about an hour a day to listen usually, but it was worth it! Recommended for anyone who really wants to supplement their history, and get a more personal perspective on Hitler and his government.

A essential listen
i loved it , it has so much information and really delves deep into hitlers early life and upbringing , his beliefs and how it all begsn . i will say its not written in an exciting way and never has that epic moment you think is coming , i recommend to all .

Engaging narration
One of the best narrated books, the voice was like a friend telling me story, I was never bored or tired of listening.
And obviously the story itself is more than interesting specially because it was just telling the story without attempting to show who was the bad guy, leaving that choice to the listener.

This is the one to read
This is the 3rd book I have read about Hitler and it was the most unbiased and the most detailed. However I recommend Albert Speer's book of Hitler who was his best friend and his architect. Speer's angle of view is also very informative and unique.

Very engaging

Just because
This Book was amazing,, It had highly sourced witness interviews and not just an incredibly one sided biased view. There were several accounts that are left out of ordinary historical fact and are severely difficult to go through hoops to get and I was able to find a ton of it in one book, this book.
It now shows as unavailable after I'd listened to it almost 6 times as I found it to be a breath of fresh air from all that nonsense of "most evil" this and that, along with "the diabolical mind of..." it was far from that and rationalized. Not only was the book amazing, But seeing as how this has been deleted, I find it to be simply because of the awakening, as well as the overkill in the mid east. I want my credit back. Also I'd like to see more literature that isn't all one sided and rife with bias and in some accounts woefully inaccurate. I can't see an issue with "'Mein Kampf" it just so happens that it is indeed a historical book in the sense that it was written within it's time! What better way to get a somewhat historical vision, although it may be from a controversial figure, it's not like I'm asking for "the protocols" regarding Bolshevism!
What's more, I'm simply asking Audible to label their books correctly and in fact bring books into the fold rather than ban them just because a certain group that is barely a hair of the earths population gets offended.
What's wrong with learning both sides? Isn't that we do for debate prep? isn't that what we do to ascertain what is fact from fiction, isn't that what we do within the guidelines of questioning?
With all said and done, I'd like my credit refunded, even though I feel it's worth more than just one mere credit. That and I wouldn't mind seeing more books made available regardless of someone finding it offensive or not. If we block books just because people find them offensive, you'll find that a heck of a lot more books will be on the path to be subject for removal.
Not to brag or anything but I have an X account, formerly and I do have above a quarter million absolute loyal followers that do listen to my rants (this rant I have yet to take to my horde) however, if I feel pushback or any type of snarky response, or any type of stereotyping on my end, It may lead me to have a bad taste in my mouth and I won't play nice.
There are titles that I know you've carried in the past and even as recently as the title that was my last straw. If we cannot come to a compromise I will be seeking a more formal interview with someone that perhaps can make things work.
I'm a literary carnivore and if I can't get my fill when my mind is hungry I get really upset, "hangry like"
I hope you can understand.
I will be checking back in and around December 17th 2024, this should provide sufficient time to fix this debacle.

Hitler Biography
Excellent account of AH’s life. Author was outstanding in this detailed account of Hitlers life. The reader of this audible book was very professional and Did an incredible job. I recommend this book highly.
