Craig Beck is a well-regarded family man with two children, a nice home, and a successful media career; a director of several companies and at one time the trustee of a large children’s charity. Outwardly, Craig was a highly successful and functioning professional man in spite of a ‘two-bottles-of-wine-a-night" drinking habit.

Everyone should read it!
Very powerful, honest and awakening book! It explains the basics that everyone should know about alcohol and why people drink. I would encourage you to read this book even if you don’t have any issues with alcohol… or at least you think that you don’t

Christmas Day gift

Saved my life
I am currently 11 months alcohol free and I owe much of my success to Craig's book "Alcohol Lied To Me" and his podcast.
Early on in my quitting process I listened to this book 2 times straight. I then listened to many episodes of his podcast to reinforce and remind me of tools I can use to remain sober (also helped to hear through his listeners that what I was experiencing was not abnormal and that I am not alone).
My mind has been drifting back to my drinking days and I was reminiscing a little too much about how good a drink would feel so I just had a 3rd listen to the book to bolster my resolve.
Thank you Craig! I honestly don't know where I would be if I hadn't had your book in my life!
