À propos de cet audio
Provocative and illuminating essays from women at the forefront of the climate movement who are harnessing truth, courage, and solutions to lead humanity forward.
There is a renaissance blooming in the climate movement: leadership that is more characteristically feminine and more faithfully feminist, rooted in compassion, connection, creativity, and collaboration. While it’s clear that women and girls are vital voices and agents of change for this planet, they are too often missing from the proverbial table. More than a problem of bias, it’s a dynamic that sets us up for failure. To change everything, we need everyone.
All We Can Save illuminates the expertise and insights of dozens of diverse women leading on climate in the United States - scientists, journalists, farmers, lawyers, teachers, activists, innovators, wonks, and designers, across generations, geographies, and race - and aims to advance a more representative, nuanced, and solution-oriented public conversation on the climate crisis. These women offer a spectrum of ideas and insights for how we can rapidly, radically reshape society.
Intermixing essays with poetry and art, this book is both a balm and a guide for knowing and holding what has been done to the world, while bolstering our resolve never to give up on one another or our collective future. We must summon truth, courage, and solutions to turn away from the brink and toward life-giving possibility. Curated by two climate leaders, the book is a collection and celebration of visionaries who are leading us on a path toward all we can save.
This audiobook includes a PDF of climate resources and references.

Farming is the world's greatest cause of environmental destruction - and the one we are least prepared to talk about. We criticize urban sprawl, but farming sprawls across 30 times as much land. We have ploughed, fenced and grazed great tracts of the planet, felling forests, killing wildlife, and poisoning rivers and oceans to feed ourselves. Yet millions still go hungry.

Around the world, geophysicists and mathematicians, oceanographers and meteorologists, engineers, economists, psychologists, and philosophers have been using their expertise to develop a deep understanding of the crises we face. Greta Thunberg has created The Climate Book in partnership with more than one hundred of these experts in order to equip us all with this knowledge. Alongside them, Thunberg shares her own stories of learning, demonstrating, and uncovering greenwashing around the world. This is one of our biggest problems, she shows, but also our greatest source of hope.

Called “one of the nation's most effective communicators on climate change” by The New York Times, Katharine Hayhoe knows how to navigate all sides of the conversation on our changing planet. A Canadian climate scientist living in Texas, she negotiates distrust of data, indifference to imminent threats, and resistance to proposed solutions with ease. Over the past 15 years, Hayhoe has found that the most important thing we can do to address climate change is talk about it - and she wants to teach you how.

10/10 from my idol Ayana
This book was fantastic, checking every box I had for what I needed this book to be. IT introduced me to so many new women to look up to! And also really helped me understand why I have this climate grief, and that I am so not alone in it, even tho I feel I am sometimes. I often go back and just listen to random chapters because I love how the book was structured so much! Very happy with my purchase, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone whos feeling a little stuck, or confused, or sad about our current global warming climate crisis, it will make you feel better I promise:)

One of the best books I've ever read/listened to
Wow. This book deserves thousands of 5 star reviews so it can be at the top of the list. When I search "climate change" in Audible, it doesn't even come up on the first page. Please, get this and listen to it. I could not stop listening. In some parts it was funny, some parts were tragic, some were informative, and some were reflective. I bought a physical copy and it is just as beautiful. I can't recommend this book enough.

Truly Inspirational, I will play it again and again!
It was a great privilege to have all these remarkable women in my ear, sharing their stories, their wisdom, their pain and passion. It can be lonely and frustrating to work towards a better future, against the odds, with so many barriers in our way. Listening to them gives me a sense of greater community, colleagueship. I expect to return to this book here and as a hard copy many times!
