The Raven Guard explores a derelict ship. One of them becomes separated and must find his way back to his brothers. It's a decently fun listen. The first part seems meant to evoke horror and a sense of dread, but doesn't quite get there in my opinion. Partially maybe because it's so fast paced. It seems to be going for a sense of fear; if it was slower paced it might give that a chance to settle and grow more.
The latter part is standard 40k style action, and enjoyable for what it is.
Without giving away spoilers, I did appreciate how the main character was torn between conflicting duties, and how no matter what course of action he chose there would be a cost. It added an interesting layer to things.
So overall I think some parts could have been done better but it still felt worth the time.

mediocre horror, fun action
