Dr. Joe Brickner looks back on how life existed in the United States back when he was growing up in the 1950s and 1960s, then compares it to life today in America. He analyzes 17 different topics, ranging from transportation to shopping to faith and freedom. At the end of each topic, he provides his "takeaways" as to life being better or worse today versus the golden years following World War II.
At the end of the book, Dr. Brickner summarizes his findings and provides a conclusion to his analysis. He then lays out his recommendations and a game plan for America and Americans to successfully seek out a new set of golden years.
