À propos de cet audio
"In giving an account of the battle of Wilson’s Creek, or Oak Hills, which though not the largest, has passed into history as one of the hardest and best fought battles of the American Civil War, it is necessary to describe certain military movements and operations which took place previously, in order that a better understanding of all of the circumstances may be had. This must be done here briefly and in a somewhat desultory way."
Originally published in 1883 for a commemoration of the battle for veterans of both sides; a three day event took place.
Holcombe and Thomas W. Adams oversaw and edited many direct participants in this battle.
With a new foreword explaining in plain terms the importance of this battle for the novice or the graduate students, it is my hope cancel culture will not prevail upon creating a DNE calculus label for history (Does Not Exist).
To quote a line from the movie Glory, "No one is innocent" in regards to recorded history.
