A good introduction
This is a very brief introduction to the history of ancient Greece, but still it presents the main ideas and developments of those societies. The book is enriched by the use of a vast amount of quotes from ancient sources.

Very Good...
Very comprehensive, obviously the result of a life's work and love of the subject.... Congratulation's!
I found the narrator very good for this type of material and their narration never interfered with the story being told. So Congratulations all round!

Very Informative
What a joy to listen to. It is an eye opening trip through an ancient past that still fascinates us today. Would highly recommend this audiobook.

excellence
some reviews say the voice is robotic. i didn't find it to bad. the production was more of a complaint with parts occasionally getting louder but don't let it distract from an incredible and brief telling of ancient Greece. incredibly informative and interesting. great work!
