In the second book of The Redemption series, Levi uses Anna’s love for those she cares about to further his own agenda. He forces her to do something for him that not even Lucifer was able to accomplish in a thousand years of scheming. While Anna attempts to work through her feelings for Lucifer, she becomes increasingly confused by his actions. One moment he seems to want to form a connection with her, and the next he does something which could tear them permanently apart.

As Anna and Malcolm grow closer, he opens up even more to her about his past and his hopes for the future. Redeeming points

I'm so invested in all the characters from Jess' story that I made it through the weak female character of the first book and finished the second too. Anna has regained some of her strength by not moping and pining after Malcolm buy its only because he finally saw the light after a push from heaven. Wish there was a little more outside the soulmate love circle in this story, maybe the next book?
