So good!!
This was probably the best book I’ve listened to yet.. the storyline was excellent the narrator was fantastic. I’m sorry it’s done..I could listen to another 15 hours. You will not be disappointed..

Enjoyed the book but not the ending
Really well narrated and the story was intriguing, but the ending?! I listened at 1.1 speed and the last hour or so was anti-climatic. The whole book was far too long for such a blah ending.

excellent story
I loved the story and the characters. I was interesting how little details you hear along the way that don't seem important are all connected

Wanted to like it
There’s a great conflict buried in this story but buried is the key word. It takes forever. The story is slow. Wanted to like it.

Read it!
I loved this book - even the acknowledgements are worth listening to! Liane Moriarty never fails to entertain and enlighten me. I’ve read all of her books and this one is likely my favourite.

Thriller?
I guess this is mostly my fault… I had been listening to serious crime and thriller stories before moving on to this book that was also listed as a thriller. I was thrown off immediately due to the narration. I love the narrator’s voice but it sounded like we were starting a rom-com. The accent and quirkiness did not work for something termed “thriller”. The book was okay. Absolutely needs to be categorized differently. And the Covid stuff at the end really seemed like an add-on.

Wonderful Story!
Felt like a cute little beach read, ended up getting deep. I felt really invested in each character. Almost thought... well, no spoilers but I will say that I was not always expecting what happened next. And the ending!

A Good Read
As always the narration of Caroline Lee is superb. The story was full of twists and turns which made me keep listening intently. The anguish of families along with stalwart love is much needed at any time but seems particularly poignant right now. Loved it
