Authorized User is based on the true story involving early '90s Sony hip hop artist Tim Dog. Allegedly, Tim Dog the con artist had been victimizing unsuspecting victims for approximately a decade and a half with little to no attention from law enforcement.
Based on the evidence and reports later received by law enforcement, Tim Dog targeted single mothers, young aspiring artists, and even a few men in his fictitious business circle. It wasn't until Tim Dog preyed upon a former foster child and war veteran by the name of Esther Pilgrim that Tim Dog was relentlessly pursued until he finally received a glimpse of justice.
The attention that would be brought upon Tim Dog globally via her tireless efforts would ultimately stop this sociopathic predator.
