Wonderful book, excellent reader

You can tell the author is a poet. So many times I was left breathless at a perfect word, adjective or turn of phrase. Beautifully written. And I can’t imagine this wonderful book being paired with a better reader, it was one of those performances where the reader and the character become so intertwined that they are one and the same. I loved this book so much that I had to listen to it twice, despite the harsh subject matter, just to experience again the beauty of the writing. A gift.
