Posing as Shelagh Macbeth from Historic Scotland, our intrepid heroine — and her cat ‘Lady M’ — become suspicious of their fellow guests: an eerily self-convinced reincarnation of the Scottish Queen, a fanatical bagpipe player and a sex-obsessed newlywed couple — all of them suspiciously bad actors.
When the drug dealing organisation realises it’s under investigation, the murders begin against the historic backdrops of Holyrood Palace, Loch Leven Island, the ruins of St Andrew’s Castle, and other places featuring in the life of Mary Queen of Scots.
