S3 Episode 3: Favor Over Being Well-Known – Humble Yourself

  • Résumé

  • In this episode of The Purpose Report, we dive deep into the difference between God’s favor and human recognition. In a culture that glorifies being seen, gaining influence, and chasing status, it’s easy to believe that being known by people means you’ve "made it." But here’s the truth—favor is greater than fame.

Just because someone is at the forefront doesn’t mean they know how to lead. Many who seek the spotlight fall because of pride, jealousy, and a heart that is not surrendered to God. But God exalts the humble and opposes the proud (James 4:6). True leadership, influence, and impact come from God’s hand, not human applause.

If you’ve ever felt overlooked, unseen, or questioned why you aren’t getting recognition, this episode is for you. Let’s break free from the world’s definition of success and focus on being chosen by God, not just known by man.

Favor is greater than fame. Being known by people means nothing if you're not chosen by God.
God exalts the humble and brings down the proud. Stay low, stay surrendered, and trust His timing.
Chasing recognition leads to a fall. True leaders don’t seek attention; they serve with integrity.
You don’t need validation from man. Never feel bad for being meek—God sees you.
Biblical examples of favor: Abraham, Joseph, Moses, Rahab, and the widow with the mite—God chooses those with hearts for Him.
