À propos de cet audio
Does it even matter anymore?
Rabid doomsday Christians “set their hair on fire”. Entire denominations make apocalyptic predictions, then react with cultic mass-denial instead of admitting their errors. For 2,000 years, even stable, Bible-believing disciples have been preaching: Soon! Soon! Soon!
Can the people of God still hope for an imminent Second Coming of Jesus? Dan and David Smith are cheerful, hope-filled Adventist men with Venden DNA coursing through their souls! Together they posit a larger question: Who cares? When life is decently abundant down here, when a golden retirement looms and vaccines have chased the germs away, do we still urgently want Jesus Christ to come and take us to a faraway destination known mostly for harps and 24/7 prayer meetings?
Dan has pastored in California and Illinois and is the speaker/host of GraceForce. David, former scriptwriter for the Voice of Prophecy radio ministry, is currently a math professor at San Bernardino Valley College and author of the Rachel Marie series of inspirational love stories, beginning with Love in a Distant Land, available in print, as an e-book, and also a brilliantly performed audiobook narrated by Tonya Foster Yancey. Both enjoy mission trips to their childhood home of Thailand. Other titles by Dan and David include Once Saved, Almost Always Saved and also Simon and Mary.
