I have been a service advisor since 1989. Since 2001, I have been making North of the six-figure ceiling.

The year I decided to do this job as an actual “career” and not just “something I do until I find my career” was 1999. In 1999, I decided to do it like a professional and apply myself in every aspect of the job. Keyword “decided.” Two years later, I was a six-figure earner. At the time, the shop rates were not even $100 per hour, so it was much more challenging to earn that kind of income back then.

Over the years, I realized there are several things I consciously choose to do daily that others do not. This choice makes me different from most other advisors out there doing the job at the moment. So what do I do every day that others do not?
