In 1979, a struggling family and a terrifying accident collide to create a mystery that rocks a small fishing community, and spawns an urban legend. Thirteen years removed from the tragedy, conspiracy theories and rumors are rampant, and a group of college journalism students ventures out on a tainted road, headed for the abandoned site where the agonizing incident occurred to set the facts straight.
Hoping for a fun, informative weekend that will provide them what they need to complete their assignment, the students are soon thrust into a series of unnerving events which suggest the story is far from being over.
