Great stories
Benedict is a great narrator, he is a surprisingly good Watson, a great Sherlock, and everything/everyone else felt really natural. Then the cases were a marvel to be sure. It was a lot of fun trying to figure out what's going on with the characters. Two of the stories I were able to put it together and solve before Sherlock unloads all the answers but the other ones were such a surprise. The last story in the collection truly did keep me guessing. So long story short, if you like a classic feeling Sherlock Homes story/stories you not look further than here.

Great travel stories
My wife and I were on a long road trip to have Christmas with our children and grandson. We listened to the Sherlock Holmes stories read by Benedict Cumberbatch, who really enlivened the stories. One of the best readers we have listened to.

Not quite Sir Arthur, but close
Of the four stories in this collection, I solved one of the crimes prior to Holmes setting out his explanation; The other three kept me guessing to the end. The writing certainly has the flavour of the original stories but you can still tell they are not written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Nevertheless, they were enjoyable in large part because Benedict Cumberbatch does such a good job with the narration. His Holmes, in particular, is superb. No surprise there.
