She explained the loss of her father and how the past haunted her, her struggle with racism since childhood growing up in Indonesia, and hurtful remarks of her high school boyfriend's mother when she was growing up as a young adult, struggling with her health, which made her lose her hair and her ability to walk and write.
She never stopped believing in the bigger plan of God’s glory--everything works beautifully at the right time and one should trust God.
Immigrating to America introduced the author to protected rights, financial aid, bad debt, welfare, homelessness, tax, and awareness of retirement.
