After taking their first step into the world on June 13, 2013, BTS will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut in June 2023. They have risen to the peak as an iconic global artist and during this meaningful time, they look back on their footsteps in the first official book. In doing so, BTS nurtures the power to build brighter days and they choose to take another step on a road that no one has gone before.
BTS shares personal, behind-the-scenes stories of their journey so far through interviews and more than three years of in-depth coverage by Myeongseok Kang, who has written about K-pop and other Korean pop culture in various media. Presented chronologically in seven chapters from before the debut of BTS to the present, their vivid voices and opinions harmonize to tell a sincere, lively, and deep story. In individual interviews that have been conducted without a camera or makeup, they illuminate their musical journey from multiple angles and discuss its significance.

A gift for ARMY
This was very insightful and a wonderful record of how BTS came to be. As an ARMY who came into the fandom in 2017, there was a whole lot I missed about their earlier years. This book covers their beginning, their struggles, and ultimately their victory- together with ARMY. I’m very proud of them and will continue to stand by their side.
Performance and narration was great, and the translators did an amazing job!
Couldn’t have spent ARMY’s birthday any other way 💜

Profoundly moving
This book is an insightful narrative into the heart of the members of BTS from their inception to present day. It’s moving to hear their stories behind the incredible music they have created but also their thoughts and feelings as they experience this journey becoming family with each other and ARMY. It’s a wonderful, well produced listening experience.

what a wonderful gift

Greatness all around
Simply amazing to listen to bts story, having the members voices come to life, and relive or learn of past memories. This book brought laughter and tears as it shed light on bts past, present and somehow future too. The performance was easy to listen and helped connect to both the narrative and the members words. Wonderful, vulnerable and heartwarming
Loved hearing the candid journey of these seven ordinary boys from Korea. They have worked hard and struggled but I am truly proud that they didn’t let the world break them. Absolutely recommended.

Very insightful
The book brings a whole new perspective to BTS’s career and life before Debut. Listened to the whole book during my traveling, the narration was well done, and the translators did well. I enjoyed it.
