Felt rushed, MMC was not my fave.

Unfortunately, this fell flat for me. The writing was not great, the storyline skipped stages several times.
The MMC is awful. I didn't love him in the first book, but this one? How many times can a man lie and then have the FMC apologize? It became quite tired.
