Yeah. A Meh, title.

I listen to a lot of audio books.

This book, its story, its performance. None of it grabbed my attention and drew me into it.

I had to struggle to keep listening, feels like a chore to listen.

Its a bit of a cookie cutter story. The main character is typical (probably the most likeable character) everyone else is pretty much filler. The "Alien Threat" is basically Zombies with a hierarchy.

I am on chapter 30, and have 4 hours left of the book. - It's going to be a slog to finish it - I'm going to, out of pure stubbornness.

The "Rigs" or Mech is kind of cool. There was a mech battle, that so far was the high point. The rest of the book is just people arguing and complaining, freaking out, taking care of team mates who of course got infected with the zombie threat and is turning because of course he did. Then they complain, and complain.

When I finish this book, if anything surprises me - or changes my mind about this book. I will update this review.
