Reacher is on a Greyhound bus, minding his own business, with no particular place to go and all the time in the world to get there. An elderly couple have made a few well-meaning mistakes, and now they owe big money to some very bad people. One brazen move leads to another, and suddenly Reacher finds himself a wanted man in the middle of a brutal turf war between rival Ukrainian and Albanian gangs.
Reacher has to stay one step ahead of the loan sharks, the thugs, and the assassins. He teams up with a fed-up waitress who knows a little more than she’s letting on, and sets out to take down the powerful and make the greedy pay. It’s a long shot. The odds are against him. But Reacher believes in a certain kind of justice...the kind that comes along once in a blue moon.

Awesome
Classic Reacher. The best of the last few in my opinion. Simple formula, beat up bad guys and bed hot women. All while being the smartest guy in the room. Love it.

Jumped the shark
Well written but parts were completely unbelievable and were uncharacteristically overly violent. plot was great, but it just seems the effort wasn't there.

Blessings to Lee Child....don’t retire!!
I love it when evil gets its comeuppance in heaps. Finally our beloved Jack Reacher is equal to Vince Flynn’s “Mitch Rapp”in dishing out justice and pain....this time finally it’s of the DEADLY variety. I’m not fond of authors who let OUR heroes be subjected to pain...A lot of my fellow readers are in some sort of pain LOL...me with my shoulder tendinitis LOL. So thank you MR Child for the excellent particularly Reacher dialogue and this time deadly retribution.....blessings to my fellow readers for the New year.
