After the death of their parents, the five young Meyter children found a home with their loving grandparents. It was a tight, but happy home, until their grandfather passed away and their grandmother grew too old to care for 10 little feet and five extra, hungry hearts. Life being what it is, their grandmother went to a home for the elderly and the five Meyter children went to an orphanage, The Harmony Home for Children.
Under the ever watchful eye of Alice Brown and her less than pleasant daughter, Carissa, the five lived and grew inside the cold walls of the Harmony Home, waiting for a day when they could be adopted - together.
