DNF. I couldn't get past the plot--and the betrayal--in this book. The whole story is centred around the fact that Matthew has to keep this big secret from Kira, and to a point, I get that, but in the first book they'd made promises to always be honest about his work, and he's now going back on that. I just can't stand it.

Also, this was getting seriously painful to read, and from what I've seen in other reviews, it's basically painful from beginning to end. That's really not what I look for in books. A little emotion is good, but I don't want books to destroy me, I'd like to enjoy them throughout, and leave feeling happy.
