À propos de cet audio
Being a Bridechilla is all about knowing what to do and when to do it when it comes to planning your wedding. The Bridechilla Wedding Planning Survival Guide is optimistic and fun. It empowers you to ditch wedding stress and traditions that aren’t meaningful to you, and instead plan your wedding day, your way.
Based on the hit podcast, Bridechilla, the Survival Guide not only focuses on the logistics and aesthetic details of the day, it supports you with the really challenging bits, the emotive elements of wedding planning, like dealing with opinions, talking about money with your partner, and how to stop your mum from inviting Carol from work.
The Survival Guide as read by author Aleisha will bring chill to your wedding planning, and soon, you’ll be ditching those unwanted obligation guests and meaningless details (so long, garters, and f--k chair covers), The Bridechilla Wedding Planning Survival Guide will liberate you from wedstress and the quest for perfection and have you working as a wedding-planning team to create a wedding and marriage that goes the distance.

Mostly helpful, but no timing help given
Generally speaking, I enjoyed this book. Aleisha shares some helpful and practical ideas for planning a wedding. I expect that I will refer to back to this book as my wedding planning progresses. I appreciated the practical and logistical tips. However, the introduction of the book states “The guide is in two parts. Part one explores the emotional decisions and challenges that we face when planning a wedding. Like obligation guests, talking about money with your partner, and the truth about wedding night sex. Part two is the logistics of wedding planning. When to do what.” I was quite disappointed to discover that, in fact, there is VERY little, if any "when to do what". The book does not suggest "Book a venue by x number of months before the date", "hire person x to perform y service by z date". This is what I was REALLY hoping for, and I feel like the description of the book suggested we would receive that information. It sounds like this information is contained in the Bridechilla Field Guide. I may end up buying the Field Guide because I really need help with this part, but I feel that this information should have been contained in the book itself.
