The story of great love...

Obsessed
Let me lead by saying, I've never written a book review.
I'm not entirely sure when I came across LJ Shen, but it started with Scandalous, then I read the remainder of the Sinners of Saint series, in the correct order.
Shen's books are highly addictive.
She takes the reader on an emotional roller coaster; I find myself angry and frustrated and sad and hopeful. At some moments I feel, "Why bother! I hate you all and you are shallow, mean, stupid, oblivious... (insert your favourite)"
I've come to realize this is what Shen does so well--something few authors of this genre can do.
She makes me feel: I rage, I mock, I choke back tears.
Broken Knight is going to be a hard book to beat.

Gawd, Rosie.
Baby LeBlanc.
Well, Luna and Knight too, but seriously, Rosie...
I run when I listen to Audible and I struggled to do so reading this book. My throat would close up with emotion and that's counter-intuitive to running.
I struggled through.
I am obsessed with her writing, her lack of filter in some regards, and the depth and sometimes vacuousness (it seems) of her characters.
Have you checked out her insta feeds? Fan pages? This is serious, Shen is not just churning out books, she is taking fiction to a new level, to her, and you (the reader), these characters are real. They exist: they love, hate and suffer, and we get to come along for the ride.

Beautiful story - phenomenal narration
Jacob Morgan and CJ Bloom made listening to this amazing story, an experience! Highly recommend!

Must read / listen
I loved the first book in the series and thought there’s no way this second could be as good. I was wrong I loved this one even more. The story is great. Narrators are great. This book had me going through every emotion. I’ll be reading/listening to everything Shen will give me.
