Everyone should read this
This is one of the best books I’ve ever read, fiction or non-fiction. Will make sense to anyone who works, except possibly the .1%. So many times I yelled YES! Throughout the reading. David Graeber was brilliant.

Different!
The book helps you get a very different perspective on a lot of issues. The last few chapters took a completely different turn and was a little boring but overall it is a very good book .

Enjoyed
I’m writing this review because I really enjoyed listening to this book. So much of what is discussed here is what I’ve been thinking about for the past twenty years. Ever since I first started working. Above all it is an interesting topic that needs to be discussed more.

Puts words on ideas I felt in my gut but could not fully articulate.
Both thought provoking and entertaining, the author conveys a very convincing argumentation that sheds a new light on our preconceptions about work.

Brilliant
It was both brilliant and cathartic to listen to this. It has done way more to explain my anxiety and depression than the 200$ an hour therapist. It should be thought at schools.

A longer book which eventually delivers
After listening to the book for the first couple of hours, I was about finished. It felt like it was lacking structure or creativity. Although I persisted and in the end, found the author was laying the groundwork for the more in-depth breakdown of bullshit jobs on almost all levels one can muster, later on in the book. I thoroughly enjoy this book, and I quote it more commonly than I thought I would. This book was something I listened to as I renovated one of my spare bedrooms and questioned my life of labour.

Kafkaesque
pretty good. I heard about it from the radio, it had bad reviews by them. But it's pretty good. A bit Kafkaesque by moment and philosophical. Makes a good argument about UBI near the end
